Never Was Turned Has Been Zine No. 8

Newest issue of perhaps my favorite modern punk fanzine. NWTHB is a flawless return to the irreverent fanzines long extinct within punk where the editor had a real voice and personality. Every issue is some of the most fun, and funniest writing I’ve read, and it’s just filled with so many tidbits big and small, it’s easy to get lost in the details. Mostly reviews, stolen graphics, personal writing and columns with interviews, and a letter section, it sounds like you most run of the mill zine, until you open it and dive in, and realize there’s not a single zine out there like this. Interviews with Straw Man Army, Standard Issue Fanzine, Hologram, and C4 are great, and some of the record reviews made me laugh out loud at someones writing for the first time in ages. Absolute top recommendation.
