The Spelunker - The Demo - CD
Another long-forgotten band here, this time it's The Spelunker, another 90's Chiba Punk band. The Spelunker is mostly remembered for being Ren's (Three Minute Movie) band before he joined The Registrators.
They only recorded one demo tape (recorded before Ren joined) which was recorded at the home studio of Waku-san (Mr.Kite), which happens to be the same studio in which the Shock / Registrators split CD was recorded.
The Spelunker played mostly around Chiba and Tokyo with bands like The MARGAReTS, the C&C, The Gozz, The Dolt, etc and their sound lies somewhere between the typical snotty Chiba Punk sound of the early 90's and the emerging "flat tire" punk sound of The Registrators and Teengenerate that would become more popular towards the end of the decade.
