Poison Arts - Kick Rock LP

Official reissue of the first LP by this 80s Tokyo hardcore punk band formed by Chelsea who would later go on to form Death Side, and Paintbox. Contrary to label’s description of this LP, I’m pretty positive Chelsea had already left the band to form Death Side by the time this LP was recorded and released, but the songs are without doubt laced with his ideas and influence, and the other members of the band, including Aki, the guitarist who replaced Chelsea are amazing players who really knocked it out of the park with this one. A rocking traditional Japanese HC record that is a favorite of mine.
